Principal Message

Trailblazers,

I am honored to continue serving as the Principal of YES Prep North Central Secondary School. Entering my 19th year with YES Prep and my 11th year at North Central, I remain deeply committed to leading a campus that relentlessly pursues excellence while Living the Blue Orange through our values of Respect, Hard Work, Leadership, Team, and Joy.

North Central is more than a school to me, it is home. I grew up in this community, and serving the Trailblazers has always felt personal and purposeful. Over the past 12 years on this campus, I have had the privilege of watching our school grow into a place defined by legacy, resilience, achievement, and heart. What makes North Central special has always been our people and the way we show up for one another.

Through my years in education, I have seen firsthand the incredible impact that relationships and community have on student success. I firmly believe that excellence is not only built through academics, but also through strong character, meaningful connections, and a culture where every student feels challenged, supported, and valued. Not all learning happens inside a classroom, and some of the most important lessons come from the experiences, opportunities, and relationships we create together.

As we continue blazing trails of excellence, my commitment is to cultivate a culture where Trailblazers are inspired to embrace challenges, pursue growth, and achieve jaw-dropping results. We will continue setting the bar high, celebrating both collective and individual accomplishments, and ensuring our students leave North Central prepared to lead and succeed in whatever path they choose.

North Central Secondary is unmatched because of the people who make up this community. We succeed as a team, support one another through challenges, and continue raising the standard year after year. I am incredibly proud to continue this work alongside our students, families, and staff.
